Churning through the winter months keeps us busy in the studio more often than not, but on more than a few snowy and slippery mornings we made our way to location shoots – including one morning where we made portraits for John Sullivan at Delta Group, where he’s corporate vice president. The best part was loitering in his office for a bit, where I noticed a magazine piece on the desk about his son Matt, whom I’d photographed for NYIT about 8 years ago. That’s two generations of Sullivans, and one lucky photographer.
On a frigid day we cranked the heat and filled up with kids again for a great shoot for Jay Franco & Sons for their new hooded towel line, and as usual the smiles were adorable and the packaging complete within a week of the booking – done and done! I think the greatest part about working on these shoots is that we get to cast local kids, and I love seeing their folks update their Facebook pages with posts about finding their children on boxes on shelves in department stores.
