I would be remiss not to post about yet another great visit to the law offices of Garfunkel & Wild to make the official portraits of their new attorneys, which happens about once each year with us – and has since 2006. Daniel and I spent the entire afternoon there sitting 16 of their new faces, and this time we shot with the camera tethered to a laptop PC, allowing us to perform the proofing for the subjects right there on the spot. Shooting tethered lets us keep a close eye on the results, too, and all-told lets corporate photography clients see their order turned around in a fraction of the time. Cheers, gang – great to meet the new faces, and see the familiar ones!

With that said, I’m back from a few weeks abroad having visited family and friends in the Netherlands and in Spain. I left when it was 50 degrees and raining, only to return to 85+ degrees and lots of sun…and even a tornado warning? With summer officially here, then, it’s time to dive in and get back to work. Two weddings, a band shoot, some model testing, more corporate work, and a few editorial jobs are already inked in; should be a great summer!
