Just a quick note with Father’s Day fast approaching! Back in 2002, I sold my first stock image, ever. It’s a great story, having to stop strangers on the street to get them to let me photograph their dog…er…relieving itself. What a first assignment – you just can’t make it up. But, though the shots weren’t exactly the most technically perfect images, they were precisely what Avanti Press was looking for. This Father’s Day, browse their card racks for the below! It’s nine years now that it’s been a best seller, and your help keeping that up would be appreciated…and hey, funny stuff. I’d almost forgotten about it, but spotted it at a card shop at Kennedy the other week.
